And today that letter was sent off.

We're only a couple of days away from the 1-month "anniversary" of the break-up, and being the hopeless, desperate romantic that I am, I just couldn't give up the opportunity to make a fool out of myself one more time.

But I think that was it, though. Not to be melodramatic here, but I poured every ounce of myself into that letter; every word was carefully chosen, every sentence reviewed & reworked.

So if she doesn't respond, well, then I have nowhere left to go. I'm out of ideas, out of arguments that haven't already been used & brought up & discarded. If she doesn't respond even I should be able to get it into my thick skull that this is a lost cause.

I would lie if I said I'm not I'm crossing my fingers - I suggest you do the same.
